Check-in process streamlined once someone became available. They were dealing with a bunch of people, and came across as a bit curt or rehearsed, but it was quick, at least. Elevator took five minutes or more each time we needed it. Room was well isolated from hallway and elevator. Bathroom had a nice spacious layout. Amenities and furniture were modern, room was clean and bright. Covered parking adjacent, though felt kind of unsafe. Signs everywhere warning about crime in and around the hotel. Ten minute drive to downtown and nothing special in the immediate area.
So I had moved from the Hotel Majestic to this hotel during my vacation, and I really liked this hotel so much more. They have plenty of amenities that really helped you feel welcome and relaxed. The staff were super nice and helpful. The room smelled good, clean, and perfect amenities like coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave. The colors were relaxing and the view was really nice.I loved having the free happy hour! You get a choice of various wines or Bud Light. But they also have nachos, pretzels, and popcorn available to munch on. You're given 3 drinks per night, and that's plenty to chill out after a long day. The fact that it's free is wonderful. The hot tub and pool are so nice to have available at the end of the night, especially after the free happy hour. The breakfast is pretty standard: eggs, sausage, biscuits n gravy, waffles, pancakes, bagels, & cereals. Coffee is available 24/7, which I appreciated. I definitely will schedule with Drury Hotels when I'm traveling if they're available. Their frequent customer program is free and you can earn a free stay eventually. Definitely impressed with this hotel, I'd recommend it. Perfectly places for all the touristy things you wanna check out in St Louis.
Hotel is nice and clean. Free drinks and snacks at night are a bonus for anyone who needs a quick pick me up before dinner. Staff was courteous and jovial. Only minor complaint is that our first room wasn't cleaned when it was assigned to us but situation was remedied quickly and we received a room on a higher floor which is a must. Location is central to just about everything you could want to get to. I would definitely stay again.
The service was very nice. I believe Reggie helped us and was very friendly and accommodating while checking us in. We had a room next to the elevators and stairs, and we expected it to be loud with guests arriving all night. Alas, it was very peaceful and quiet throughout the night. Our room had a different layout from the other rooms due to the elevators and stairs, so our bathroom had an entire wall of windows that could be closed with curtains. I almost wish all the rooms were like this, because the lighting was great for doing makeup and getting ready. Using the parking garage was easy and it was a great stay
We come here often for trips to the children's hospital. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The front desk clerks are typically very helpful and the breakfast is always warm and fresh. We enjoy eating dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. It's nice to find a place that is consistently clean, friendly, and reasonably priced.
