I don't think you could find a better all-around vet clinic. It's super busy and chaotic, but I'm understanding that sometimes appointment times are often goals rather than the reality of emergencies and the not rushing appointments with patients. I get the same treatment when it's my turn, and they've stopped everything it seems to save my little guy from poisoning. If you get upset over small clerical things, having to wait, chaotic waiting room, fair prices, then maybe don't go here, but if you want to develop a relationship with a vet for all your fur babies for years (5 or so years now here) and years then give them a try. Seems all people are welcomed. Very diverse clientelle when I am in the waiting room. LGBT friendly especially too. Seems like a lot of LGBT use Watson Road.
Dr. King is amazing! He cares so much about all my animals. The main problem is you can NEVER get through on the phone. It's always "busy" and you can't leave a message. It's very frustrating when trying to make an appointment. It makes me highly consider going somewhere else!!!! Not only that, but I had emailed around 7a and they gave all appointments away to first come calls at 9a. (I was calling for 15 min straight starting at 9a on the dot)
I love this place. All the vets love what they do and really care about you and your pets. I will go here as long as I have pets.
The best standing vet clinic hands down. I wish they were 24 hours. They'd be that busy. The vets are amazing. How do you say thank you to people that have gone above and beyond for your dogs countless times, even if it was to help one on his final journey? They've added a fifth vet and are still swamped. Despite being busy, the quality of care is incredible, and they don't take half your wallet to have your best buddy treated. I'll keep recommending them and going there.
Been taking my dogs here for years. Small practice with 5 vets. Very compassionate. Reasonable prices. Multi-pet 20% discount. Dr Zeis always returns my phone calls personally. Dr King has offered to stay after hours on a Sat to do urgent surgery on my dog regarding complications from neuter days earlier. I appreciate conservative treatment and not immediately suggesting expensive blood work or other diagnostics unless warranted. Dr Zeis also follows latest suggested protocol for inoculations so not pressured to do yearly ones on older dogs with maintained immunity- Except rabies as required yearly by St Louis City & every 3 yrs required St Louis Co. Excellent surgeons. Easy to talk to. Friendly staff.
