Dr Ed takes great care of my two mutts! We tried a few different vets when we moved to St Louis, but when we found Hillside, we knew we'd found the perfect fit. It's always easy to get an appointment, and they send me timely reminders for routine health maintenance. The best part is Dr Ed; he explains all of my options and helps me make educated choices without ever feeling pressured or guilty. I decided to write this review because the man is so honest! He checked out the dogs' teeth and told me there's no need to get them cleaned right now. He's like the trustworthy mechanic worth his weight in gold that everybody looks for, but for your pets. And a veterinarian.
I love hillside! I love they have a fear free program as my 2 dogs are both pretty scared of vets and groomers. They give lots of treats and praise to gain an animals trust and never push the animal to adapt too quickly when they are nervous. Any time my pets have needed to be seen they have gotten them in rather quickly.
Great vet. They are partnered with the rescue shelter right across the street so I'm in and out fairly often. They are always nice and friendly and really care about the animals!

5 stars across the board. Hillside has been nothing but helpful with our new puppy. They are very responsive and always follow-up with our requests. The staff is very professional and friendly and I cannot say enough good things about Hillside!
