We've been bringing our cats here as long as we've had them and we've always gotten great service and the cats are good.
I bring 3 of my dogs to St. Louis Hills Vet Clinic and thus far I've been extremely happy with the care they have received. Dr. Schaeffer has a wonderful bedside manner and will talk to you, in great detail, about risks and benefits of anything you have concerns about without making you feel silly or stupid, even if your knowledge is limited on the subject. He seems to respect your decisions as your pet's guardian and while he will offer his medical opinion, he's clearly not pushing it on you. He is also good with my 5 year old son, which is a nice bonus. The staff is very friendly and everyone just has a good vibe when you're there. I can usually get an appointment within a week or so and they've been very accommodating with my ever changing schedule, as I usually have to switch my appointments around a few times.I recommend everyone to this practice, and my mother now takes her dog to him as well.
I recently moved into a house in south Saint Louis with my two rescue kitties. A friend referred me to St Louis Hills Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Eric was very patient with me and compassionate with my pets as they received their follow up shots and treatments. I appreciate that they are punctual and respectful of my time and don't have me wait in their lobby past my scheduled appointment time.
We've taken our animals here for years. They are awesome with everything from vaccines to injuries to diseases. Cannot recommend St. Louis Hills Vet enough!
