I was actually very surprised with this U-Haul Moving & Storage of Downtown St Louis. All of the staff were extremely professional and very nice. There were no hidden fees or gimmicks that they tried to include in the package. The location is a bit tough to find, but once you get in the general area, there are plenty of signs that point you in the right direction to enter the store. I would highly recommend U-Haul Moving & Storage of Downtown St Louis. If I need to move something again, I'll definitely be coming back!
Good facility with elevators and carts and inside vehicle access. They sell and rent all Uhaul equipment. Access 24 hours your storage room. Staff was very helpful. Payments can be made easily on line.

This location is not awful, but its the worst in the city for a few reasons. 1. Its very difficult to get around in that area in any vehicle, and especially nerve wracking in a U-Haul. 2. If youre planning to return the vehicle at night, you have to be very careful where you park. They have lots of parking inside their structure, but they close that up and lock it, and last I checked there are NO warning signs. Theyre supposed to let you know just in case, but people forget sometimes. Theres a special place to park outside. Its hard to find and a long walk from the office. 3. Theres a special place to drop off your vehicle that is equally hard to find, and weirdly terrifying - its under a highway, over train tracks, and surrounded by gates. 4. The manager is not a generally happy guy. When my car was locked in (sad day), he was like, thats too bad, and he was not being funny. It would have been less bothersome had he not mentioned that he lived across the street. He just didnt feel like opening the door because legally its private property and he doesnt have to. Lol. Other than that its fine. The location is clean and the regular service is a bit slow, but entirely adequate.
The service is nice and the place is clean. If you ever end up getting a locker here the building is historical. It was an old shoe factory. On different floors they left in place old factory equipment on display as well as the elevator ( not the one you use of course). They have display cases and posters of what was made there and some of the history. The building was 24/7 with a gated entrance into the private parking garage. It was pretty nice.
