All I can say is YUM! I was kinda hesitant about a place that basically only serves calzones, but wow was it good. You order at the counter and then they serve you when it's done. We did customized calzones, picking out or own cheese toppings and sauce. The spicy red and the meat sauce were both awesome. The dough is perfect. We sat on the patio which was quiet and peaceful.
This place is much better than I expected. I would pay twice as much for this quality. Good service, good beer, and really good food. The only annoyance was the huge number of flies outside the restaurant.
We came in on a slow Saturday night with friends. The beer selection was okay, the calzones were good (giant, but tasty), outdoor seating was cool, but 1/2 of the food we ordered was refunded because it didnt come out until after 20 people that ordered after us got there food and we had to ask about where the food was. The interactions were a little awkward because of this. Good luck if you try it.
First time here. Had the Meet me in Saint Louis calzone. It comes with a side of red meat sauce, thus the name. If your not a big eater you might be able to split one and a salad with a friend or a friendly stranger, totally up to you.You can dine outdoors, weather permitting or indoor. Finding the restrooms can be tricky if you have to go in a BAD way! The restrooms are located on the second floor of the hotel. Turn 2 rights off the elevator.Most street parking is metered up until 7pm.Enjoy and please like if this review helps you to decide.
Very modern, clean, staff was patient with first time guests. A bit quiet when we went. I suspect this place is hopping at lunch. Meet me in St Louis Calzone was excellent. The cheese in it was very tasty. It was cooked perfectly. We will come here again next year.
