Great little place. Cozy. Fun and different menu. Seeing how busy the place usually is is evidence enough of how great it is!
Set your phone down right now. Don't bother with any other restaurants. Try this place right now. It's a small cozy place with extraordinary flavors. The Israeli bruschetta was crunchy and the tomatoes juicy. The turkey thighs was fall off the bone and juicy. Mixed with the rice and sauces it is absolutely fantastic. Service was phenomenal but even if it was lousy I would still eat here again and again.
Are you in St. Louis? Don't worry how you got there. Go to Olio now. Delicious food, great bread. Chicken meatballs and egg salad toast especially. Quaint place. Fully stocked bar.
One of my favorite places to eat in St Louis for a quick small plate and drink. The chef does an amazing job with both vegetarian and meat-based items. The bartender is always developing new craft cocktails. There spritzer is a great idea especially if you want to try something new.
Really disappointed with their spritz hour. Most of what was in the tiny glass was ice, and the spritz was mediocre at best. Service was not great as well. They were not very busy, and it took the server 10 minutes or more to get back to us to take our order. The people I was with mentioned they have a good experience here about 50% of the time. This was not one of those times. The saving grace here was their hummus. Interesting and tasty, but pricy. Not worth coming back I think.
