Food was very good- fried chicken, wings & grilled chicken salad. Wings came out with salad and chicken dinner. we preferred them first. Kitchen was a little slow ( we arrived 12:40 PM Monday), all was very good.
Chicken great. Too loud. Great service. Not the cleanest place I've been to but the good was really good.
Fathers Day lunch was a disappointment. Pork Steak was tough and barbeque sauce was water down. Chicken wings were hot and fresh but very chewy and tough after a few minutes. Waitress was prompted and courteous and did her job well. Took food home to salvage our give to my dog. Maybe fried chicken next year.
I had the chicken dinner. It was so delicious. Can't wait to go back and order it again.
Fergie's is a neighborhood staple that we're lucky to have around. The place is popular with an older crowd, so even if you try to get ahead of them and eat dinner at 4:30, the place is likely already busy. All the staff is pleasant, courteous, and takes care of their customers.I don't know about much else here other than the fried chicken. It's some of the best in STL hands down; half a chicken, two sides, and a roll for only $10 can't be beat, just make sure you have the time to wait... it's all cooked to order!
