Great food, great price point, staff was fantastic. Our waitress was so patient and sweet to our family. We were there with our 4 small kids and she didn't miss a beat, and spoke to my kids like people. generous portions. We had the pulled pork enchiladas and Guadalajara tacos, and both were amazing.
Best Mexican in St. Louis!!!! Nobody has been able to knock Chava's off my number one list for twenty years - not even close!Great atmosphere and hip crowd. There is both indoor and outdoor seating as well as a large bar. I have tried almost everything on the menu and I like everything! Yummy, spicy and cooked just right.The service is fast and friendly. Don't miss this one!
This place is amazing!! I have been coming here for many years and the quality has never been less than perfect. The staff is always friendly and checks in with the table just enough. Not too much or too little. I always get the stuffed peppers because they are just amazing! But the peppers are until they run out so get there early! You guys are awesome keep up the excellent work!!
I had a drink here a couple months back but wasnt able to eat so I decided tonight was the night I would get that opportunity. I was greeted within about 2 min and was seated by the front window. The chips and salsa (fantastic) hit the table in about 30 seconds and it probably took around 5 min for the waiter to come over so by that time I had selected my entire dining selections. The Queso cheese dip, fried tacos and a margarita on the rocks with some Don Julio tequila. He took my order while I truly enjoyed the cheese dip. Chips were also really good, crispy and a perfect combo. The tacos came out shortly after (thank god or I would have been full on chips). Very impressed, great fast and a fairly good portion of ground beef inside the take. The magic is when you dip it in the cheese dip. O SO GOOD!Good overall experience. 5 stars on the food, 4 stars on the 3 stars on the service. (Not that it was bad, but very average)
Excellent food. Unique menu. Beautiful interior, especially the bar. We've been going here for years and the service and quality remain consistent. Try the stuffed pepper!Also, flash fried tacos are my favorite, which I always order. Today I had the special, spinach and grilled chicken quesadilla. Try the specials!
