First time visit was a very enjoyable experience. The food was fantastic and the service was awesome. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I will definitely go back and would reccomend to friends and family.
I used to go to Majestic for my Greek food fix but ever since they closed down it's been a struggle to find another good restaurant, at least until we found Apollonia. The service is very friendly, the prices are exactly as low as you might have grown accustomed to from Greek restaurants, and the beer is ridiculously cheap. Cozy atmosphere meets good food is the best way to describe it.
Edited to add: in the 8 months Ive been pregnant my husband and I have eaten here at least once a week! I order the same thing every time - but hes tried most things on the menu. I get the gyro salad with extra pita and A little tzatziki side. We love everything we cant stop eating here! Consistently amazing. We got the gyro salad and a gyro to go and it was all perfect! So great to know theres amazing Greek food so close to our new house! HUGE portions!
It was my first visit and shall not be my last. The food was excellent and the service even better. If you're looking for Greek in St Louis this is your place. Highly recommended
Amazing Mousaka. Our server was fantastic and they accommodated a party of about 20 people at the last minute on a Tuesday night after 8pm when reservations fell through at a different restaurant. No one that worked there seemed agitated or bothered by our intrusion. Food was excellent. And our server was friendly, personable, and efficient. Our out-of-town friends were quite impressed with the whole experience. This restaurant is a must visit for their great staff and delicious food. We will definitely be back but most likely in much smaller numbers so please don't freak out, Apollonia.
