A great place for kids to learn about money and the economy. Ok for adults too, but the games are kid focused.
Worth a trip. Free museum nestled in downtown STL. Can do in 1 to 2 hours. You can walk away with a free baggie of old shredded money in the gift shop.
Beautiful building. Museum was very informative. Lots of hand-on learning and very good job translating difficult economic topics to relatable examples. We spent about 45 minutes there but a younger and more eager learner could be there for a few hours. More than worth the price of admission: FREE! Staff was very friendly and more than willing to help in any way.
Very knowledgeable. A lot of hand on game for people to learn. Wonderful place. It also have soaps that hide a bill in it. Once you finish the soaps outside the bill will show. According to the box, the bill can be $1, $5, $10, $20, even a $50. Just a feeling of buying a lottery soap. We didn't buy that soap. However, we buy a bag of 25 coins from 25 countries for $5. All the countries that we didn't visit. Kinda cool.At the end, there is a free bag of shredded bills. If you are good at the puzzle game, you might puzzle you another paper bill for free. Hahah
