HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! For all ages. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. The exhibits are interesting and informative. This place is a gem.
A very good museum detailing black history from slavery to emancipation to modern times. Life-size mannequins of major historical figures are accompanied by narratives of their contributions. Most stirring is an actual slaves quarters from a MO farm, brought to the museum from its original location.
Fantastic museum! It was very informational and well kept. The wax figures look so realistic! What a wonderful place to visit! I highly recommend it!
This is definitely hidden gem worth going to see! The wax figures were so life-like, and the Black history presented really empowering, well developed, and authentic.
This is a great place to visit. And is on many of the top 10 list for St. Louis. The walk through is about 30- 45 minutes and they have some wonderful art in the gallery downstairs. It is close to downtown.
