This parking cost 15 dollars on entrance. There is a bridge over the street to enter the south entrance of the zoo. There are about ten handy cap parking spots at the bridge. The parking lot is big and very well Landscaped. The zoo is free so the 15 dollars is more than fair. The zoo itself is outstanding. Its beautiful and lots of shade! We would definitely come back.
This a fun, free zoo. We actually really enjoyed our time. The people who worked there were incredibly helpful in locating the water mist sprayers. It was dreadfully hot the day we went and many animals were in the shaded areas. I would suggest going during the cooler season to be able to see more animals. Oh! The train ticket is totally worth it!
The Saint Louis Zoo is fantastic! So much to see and do and learn. Admission is free but parking is very expensive at $15/day. You also have to pay for many of the attractions inside (train, pet the stingrays, children's zoo, seal show, etc) but overall I would recommend this zoo to everyone! Great family outing!
Fun zoo. Even though its free an you can see a lot. There are areas where it will cost you to see stuff. So don't be surprise and plan ahead. If you get the big refillable drink it will cost a dollar for every refill. But refill on ice water was free. So it will pay for it self if its hot out
Always a good time. The fact that it is free is just the icing on the cake. There is never a shortage of active animals to view.My three year old's favorite time was when he saw the elephant pee and poop. Yup. Great memories established at this place!
