I would like to take a second to give a review to Manor Real Estate. I have had the pleasure of doing business with Manor Real Estate for over 3 years now. The group of real estate agents at this company is a true pleasure of dealing with. I have done work with Ben Cherry, Don Cherry and Jeanette Bell. I know that the care that they have for every customer and vendor is like no other. They put there clients first to make sure they are getting the best on every property. Do not hesitate to do business with Manor Real Estate. I know from experience that they will be loyal, honest, and caring on any questions real estate you may have. just became a tenant recently and everything went okay i guess. unfortunately the property wasn't really cleaned when i moved in and the screens had to be replaced, which some did in a few days and some are still waiting. needed some electrical work and maintenance on doors but that got done which i really appreciate. don is really nice, Megan is super nice too. the refrigerator didnt work at move in so i lost money due to spoilage over labor day weekend. repair men put a part in soon after which was good. 10 days later i lost more food/money because of the same issue, however this time don came over himself and ordered a new refrigerator to be delivered in 5 days which was great and he obviously wanted to fix the situation but over 5 days i lost alot of food/money again. still appreciated how he handled it. requested to have the property sprayed and traps laid soon i hope, will update. all in all so far things have been decent. lease says your not allowed to put any holes/even tiny nails in the wall which is very very very strange.....but still glad i leased from manor real estate so far, will update in coming months and years! Thanks again!
Enjoyed living on the property, and had pleasant interactions with Don Cherry and his team members. But after moving out, we were accused of poking holes in the walls, painting over these holes, and sticking gum on the floor (???). Those patches of paint on the wall were already there when we moved in, and as for the gum, I guess you'll have to trust that we're not the type of idiots who spit gum onto the floors of our own home, much less LEAVE IT THERE. Manor Real Estate took $1,200 from our deposit to pay for mess-ups that previous tenants had left them. I am extremely angry and would rate them lower, but am trying my best to be level-headed as I recognize this is a "he said, she said" situation. I suspect they did not properly inspect the home after their previous tenants moved out, and are now blaming us / making us pay for other people's damages.I appreciate the year I had to live on Manor Real Estate's property, but for everyone else looking to do the same, please please please protect yourselves against something like this. (And the company should make sure something like this doesn't happen again!) Me and my roommates were wrongfully accused, had twelve hundred dollars taken from us to fix other people's blunders, and left with no way to prove our innocence. Just so completely wrong.
I have been renting an apartment from Manor Real estate for nearly two years now and have never had an issue. The office staff has always been professional and courteous, and maintenance issues have always been addressed promptly and resolved with minimal disruption to my daily life. I give them 5 stars because I can't imagine how they could be doing a better job.
