Great waking path, a lake for fishing, ball fields, play ground, dog park, pavilions, plenty of picnic locations. This park is a nice spot for getting outside and having an adventure without having to go to far from home!
Great place to take the children. The daycare that I work for takes the school age children there every summer for the playground and the sprinklers. They always have fun everytime we go. They have a frisbee golf course and a lake.
Great place to take the family. We have our labor day picnic here every year and it's a good time. Very quiet and scenic.
On days that the weather is nice, we like to go and people watch lol. They have nice shaded picnic tables. That have been taken care of, so they are clear of most yucky stuff lots of dog walkers. As a retired dog groomer, I get much joy, being able to be around my favorite animal again..
In the spring this park is great. They have good paved paths with slight hills to walk or run. They have a frisbee golf coarse and a couple lakes. There is also a good sized playground for the kiddos. My complaint with this park is the same every year. They do not keep up on keeping the grass cut. The lakes are full of trash by mid-summer and progressively gets worse. The mosquitoes are simply horrible!! I'm sure it in part due to the grass not being cut and maintained. They have blue gill, bass, catfish and a hell of a lot of turtles
