This place deserves 0 stars, but since that is not an option they are stuck with one. They are first and foremost, A BUSINESS, and do not care if they practice due diligence in communicating and working with families who have not experienced the loss of a loved one. They completely butchered my brother's funeral ceremony with a skipping DVD picture show. A pastor more concerned with getting paid and speaking on damnation rather than the joys of life. He hardly spoke clear even with a microphone. They changed the funeral package my mother wanted and informed her they were giving her a discount on the package she wanted. They gave her the cheaper package and lied. With that, they placed my brother in a cheap casket that didn't even close all the way when my mother requested a protective casket. They did not communicate that we needed to contact the cemetery to choose a burial plot and said they would handle all of that, so my brother was buried like some John Doe. To make things worse, the man we were working with (Edward, I believe) told my mother that he told my brother and I told us everything we needed to know when he did nothing of the sort. These people are only out for the money and will put on an act of sympathy to win your business. Do not patronize this business. EVER!! They are liars and snake oil salesmen. The only good thing I have to say is Sherry working overtime to ensure we at least had a picture collage.
Id rather not leave a response because it wouldnt be a positive one!! So disappointed!!
My mother passed May 3rd 2018 and I went to serenity funeral home on union. When I tell you it was not all about money with them. It was about taking care of your family member. I was by myself with buring my mom and they stepped in and help me with everything I needed. They referred me to others to get funds and help get my mom buried. So much thanks to serenity funeral home for their support with Rita Waiter

We are so very thankful for Sherry she is so patient and goes out of her way to make us happy. I appreciate everything they have done for our family. Most thankful.
