Love this place! I buy my lunch here quite often. Great sandwiches and salads and hot food too.
I come to this Straubs a lot. Their meat and deli counter is great and I love that they primarily stock local brands. The only thing I wish they would improve on is the selection of non-dairy frozen desserts. Aside from a couple of sorbet pints and popsicles there is none so I have to go to Whole Foods a few blocks over when I'm buying those.P.S. for root beer loversthis place probably has the best selection of single bottles in St. Louis.
A market that has been around for awhile. Can find many items that you don't find in regular grocery stores. Good place to shop. Prices can be a little pricey depending on what you are looking , but overall great store.
The friendliest staff. The most high quality foods and meats. I live in Illinois and come over to the Central West End location. I've never once had a bad experience. The best.
Personable employees. I think Eli in the meat department is the best. Lovely smile. Greets me with that smile whenever he sees me in the store. Other staff, including lady who works in the bakery section, are great.
