Loved it here! Literally everyone - employees and other patrons - are so friendly. The view was incredible, too. (We were in section 450 way up above behind home plate). The photo booths with a Cardinals-themed border on the printout are a great touch as well. Would love to go back and highly recommend to any baseball fans, too!
This ballpark is definitely one of my top three favorites... everything about it is exceptional, from the employees to the players to the post game fireworks show. We were there to see the Cardinals beat the Cubs (an obvious bonus) but the real winners are the dedicated fans! And let's not forget the many great shops and cool restaurants on every corner surrounding this awesome venue. Wish there was a Busch Stadium in every state...
Went to a game today and had a great time. Weather was perfect. The Cardinals won the game. Staff are always friendly. Nice family atmosphere. The only complaint would be prices. Too high of prices on almost everything. Merchandise, food, soda and especially beer. I feel that the St. Louis fans are the most loyal fans in baseball. I feel that they should be rewarded for packing the stadium every game rather than be punished by price gouging.
A truly great stadium experience. This stadium is so well designed, its hard to believe that so many people fit into it. Entry rarely takes very long, and staff are super helpful and knowledgeable about where everything is at. Vendors are well placed and varied, so that youre never very far from what you might want or need. Even cheap seats have excellent field views, and the seats are well maintained and comfy. Sound and PA is loud and clear, but not painfully loud like at some other venues, which was nice for our kids. The restaurants and shops along the stadium entry alley are fun for pre or post game celebration. I know some people still miss the old Busch stadium, but this place is a really great place to experience a ballgame.
St. Louis is considered a small professional sports market but our St. Louis Cardinals baseball team draws an annual attendance usually over 3 million fans visiting Busch Stadium. I'd have to confirm the facts but believe our fan attendance is comparable to New York, Philadelphia and other large market venues. The stadium is about 15 years old and has the amenities and conveniences fans should expect from a modern, professional sports venue. I attended the game today with a friend with a breathing problem. For the first time I used the elevators which appeared plentiful and large. I've sat in the bleachers for $15 and had a good view of the game. I've also rented luxury boxes for groups of 25 or so. I've visited several other stadiums on the east coast and Chicago and K.C. I've never found anything different that I wish Busch Stadium had. For young adults it's party city just outside with our Ballpark Village and other restaurants and bars. I find Ballpark Village too loud for middle age or older adults. It's tolerable when the team is out of town. The food is good and reasonably priced. Drinks are expensive.
