THANK GOD FOR MARK HAMMER! I cannot begin to explain in words how thankful I am that I contacted the Hammer Law Firm when I found myself facing criminal legal charges. These are the important things about my experience that I will pass on: 1) I was treated with complete respect and never once felt any judgement from Mr. Hammer or his staff. I felt like he cared for me and my wife far beyond his fiduciary duty as my legal council. 2) I believe that Mr. Hammer's previous experience as a prosecuting attorney was instrumental in using strategies to ultimately arrive at a very desirable outcome. 3) The cost of my 3 year case was, in my opinion, extremely reasonable. 4) MOST IMPORTANT - There came times over this 3 year process where I had actually given up... especially towards the end. I had resigned to a accepting a plea that I was completely unhappy with simply out of fear of what the alternative could be. Even though I had given up, Mark did not. He kept fighting until, right before setting a trial date, the DA accepted the best case plea that we were hoping for from the very beginning. I shudder to think of what mine and my family's life could be like right now if I had called a different number 3 years ago, and me and my family will always be grateful beyond words for the role that Mark Hammer and The Hammer Law Firm played in our lives.

I was referred to Mr. Hammer by someone else. I called him and he asked me how can he help me. I was trying to tell him the nature of the situation (it's very sensitive information that could potentianlly end her life and others if placed in the wrong hands). He kept cutting m ooe off and not allowing me to finish my sentence. He interrupts me again and says, "I can't take this anymore" with an attitude and asked for her name. I gave the first name, but it had nothing to do with the question I had. His answer to it would have given me the information I needed to proceed with him for criminal defense or another type of attorney. Too bad I didn't get to ask; he hung up on me. I have never had a lawyer hang up on me. He's supposed to be a professional individual, but hangs up on you like a child. I'm already super sensitive about the situation because it's potentially life, death, or prison time for something she is being coerced and forced to do to get their dirty work done. He needs to learn how to L I S T E N !!!! Many people in the same situation are very broken and overwhelmed. Patience is very important and he needs to work on his before hanging up on a potential client.

Mark Hammer a Saint Louis Attorney,, is both a theif and a liar. He completely fits the stereotypical shyster lawyer. I hired him in 2016 to try and get a reduction in sentence for my Brother who is serving 2 conservative life sentences for something he did not do. I live way out of State. He quoted me $5,000 to investigate, $12,000 if he thinks he can get him out. After giving him the $17,000 he said he needed $2,000 for an investigator which I immediately sent. That was early 2016, It was the end of 2016 before even talked with my brother, come spring of 2018 he still hadn't done anything, and then tells me they found out, 2 years later, that because of the nature of his cinviction, he is not eligible for a reduction in sentence. Then to try and justify the money they're said they were going to right a letter requesting clemency. My brothers in prison on sex-related charges no Governor in the world's going to give him clemency. I filed a complaint with the Missouri OCDC Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel complaining that Mark Hammer was not returning $12,000 dollars. In Mark shyster Hammers response he came up with all this bogus list of names , none of which we never even heard of. Again to justify all that money, On the phone he lied straight to my face. Said he had a hundred twenty five hours in. Hadn't filed one paper and every single time he went to talk to my brother in person, which was four times, he told my brother and I that they would be talking to him when they had other business in Jefferson City. But on the phone when I was arguing with him to return my money, He said that he went to Jefferson City specifically to see my brother which was a lie to Bill me more money. Then when I received this response from the OCDC, he claimed that he quoted me $25,000 to work the case at $350 an hour. I would never hire a lawyer for that kind of money it's ridiculous, he's a liar. He also lied to OCDC that I hired him for new evedence to prove innocence but there is no new evedence , what evedence, it was a reduction in sentence , period.... This is a horrible human, and liar and thief. My reply to OCDC will be he is lying which will just be a "he said she said." So,,,,,, don't use this lawyer, he's a shyster. I WILL GLADLY TAKE A LIE DETECTOR TEST TO PROVE I'M TELLING THE TRUTH
